"Who Shall Not Vote"

This New Jersey Act of 1807 specified who shall
not vote by defining who could vote "free, white male citizens
of this state, of the age of twenty-one years, worth fifty pounds
proclamation money..." By this act, women and blacks were
disenfranchised.
